Mayor and Council to Light Up Main Street….

Iroquois Falls, December 13, 2021

Pause during the Holiday Season and take a moment to count your Blessings.

For the upcoming Christmas Season, Council will be lighting up the Main Street area of Iroquois Falls. “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Anson Park will not be lit this year,” informed Mayor Delaurier, “however, we will be doing something new in the park for Christmas 2022,” he added.

Council encourages everyone to shop local. There are many businesses in our municipality who have a wide variety of gifts for everyone on your list. During the hustle and bustle of the Holiday Season, take a moment to count your blessings, for we have many!

Make plans to go out and enjoy the Christmas Parade on December 19th. Floats will be leaving the arena at 6:00 p.m. This year, the Iroquois Falls Chamber of Commerce is hosting a contest for float participants.

Council also encourages everyone to follow the COVID-19 public health measures and stay vigilant during the Holidays. And remember, for every one thing that you know about a person, there are many things that you do not know…. so be kind…be kind!
