Council for the Town of Iroquois Falls Appoints two new Members to Fill the Vacant Seats…. 

Iroquois Falls, March 8, 2022 

Richard Charlebois and Stephanie Giguere Bernier appointed to Council. 

In their Special Meeting held on February 28th, 2022, Council for the Town of Iroquois Falls elected Mr. Richard Charlebois and Mrs. Stephanie Giguere Bernier to fill the two vacant positions on the Town’s council. 

Richard Charlebois and Stephanie Giguere Bernier were formally appointed to Council by by-law during a Special Meeting on March 2nd, 2022. “We are very happy to have Richard and Stephanie on Council and welcome them to the team”, stated Mayor Tory Delaurier. 

Councillor Charlebois is a local retail business owner, with a vast array of volunteer experience. Councillor Giguere Bernier holds a B.A. in Political Science and served a term on Council from 2014 to 2018.

WARNING

Iroquois Falls Fire Deaprtment warns residents and businesses to be diligent in removing snow that has accumulated around natural gas meters.  Accumulated snow can cause the meters to freeze and thereby malfunction and cause natural gas odours/leaks.

 

Iroquois Falls Fire Department warns residents and businesses to be diilgent in removing snow that has accumulated on roofs of structures throughout the Town.  Accumulated snow can cause the roofs to collapse due to excessive weight.
